The City is currently accepting applications for a Planning Commission Member, and will continue to do so until the position is filled.
The Planning Commission meets 3-4 times/year on weekday evenings. A meeting is called only if there is an issue the Planning Commission needs to consider. The Planning Commission is made up of citizens and fills a very important role in the community: it approves or denies Land Use applications, Site Design Reviews, and other requests under the Halsey Development Code.
To be eligible to serve on the Planning Commission, you must be registered to vote and have resided within the City of Halsey for one year.
