Help Keep Our Kids Safe

School is back in session and children are walking to and from school down Halsey’s residential streets.

We have recently received multiple reports of speeding in Halsey, putting our kids at risk. Please be sure to abide by the residential and school zone speed limits, along with making sure to come to a complete stop when approaching a stop sign.

We have alerted the Linn County Sheriff Office of the issue. They have put specific areas on their focus patrol and will be monitoring the area. Lets work together to keep our Halsey residents, especially our smaller/less visible ones, safe!
