Mail-Back Medication Disposal Program

Did you miss out on the Linn County Sheriff’s Office Drug Take Back Event in April? MED-Project has provided unwanted medicine mail-back envelopes to City Hall to be distributed to residents. If you would like an envelope, please drop by City Hall during business hours and staff will be happy to provide you with one.  NOTE: The following items are not accepted in Medicine Mail-Back Envelopes: Herbal remedies, vitamins, supplements, cosmetics, other personal care products, medical devices, batteries, mercury-containing thermometers, sharps, illicit drugs, and inhalers.

To protect your privacy, please be sure to remove all personally identifiable information from medication packaging.
