Graduated from Halsey High School in 1942. Lived in tow since 1962. Served on the City Council in 1967-1974. Served in the Army in 1942-1945 as a machine gunner in the South Pacific. Spent working years in the seed business. Married Doris, 3 children, 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. Les Fincher City of Halsey Councilor Graduated from Elgin High School in 1983. Married to Shirley and has two daughters and a son. Background inLogging. Works for Sherman Brothers Trucking in Harrisburg. Enjoys wrestling, hunting, and fishing. Wade O. Doerfler City of Halsey Councilor Retired school principal. Mayor of Halsey twice and member of Council 1981-2001. BS, Pacific University 1961; MS University of Oregon 1976. Married 40 years to Marianne. Has 5 children, 8 grandchildren. Hobbies include people, his doe Josie, and the good earth. Volunteers much of his time with senior citizens. Next new car will be a brand new Corvette. "I really love the Lord and Life!" Kevin MacDermott City of Halsey Councilor I am married with a daughter in Kindergarten. I also enjoy being outside doing sports, hiking, fishing, and camping. Iwork for a heating and air conditioning company. I enjoy living in the small town of Halsey. Ernie Turner City of Halsey Councilor Moved to Halsey in 1978. Married to Sandra and has two daughters. Worked for the Albany School District as Head Custodian for 16 years at Calapooia Middle School. Ernie is very involved with the youth of the Central Linn community volunteering with Science Olympiad and other functions. Ernis is also very active with the senior citizens of the Central Linn community.
